Sump Pump Does Not Work When You Lose Power
One of the key factors of any waterproofing system is the sump pump; after all, it is what keeps the water away and out of your home. So what happens when there is a heavy storm and the power to your home is lost? Your sump pump stops working. The protection from having your crawl space and/or basement flood is also lost. Innovative Foundation Solutions offers a battery backup pumping system to help add that extra security for times like these.
My Sump Pump Liner Doesn't Have A Lid
Sometimes it seems like the simplest and easiest way to get a sump pump in your home is to dig a hole and place the pump in the hole and let it do its job. But leaving the pit open and exposed can cause trouble. Not only does it look unappealing, but it can be dangerous. If someone is not looking out they can step into the open pit. Leaving it open and exposed will allow animals, critters, and debris to fall into the pit. This can harm the functionality of the pump itself. The best thing to have is a properly installed sump liner with a properly sealed lid. Doing so will prevent you or someone you now from getting hurt and will increase the longevity of the pump!
